Subject:How to add search scope setting to online help. From:"huangxuxia huangxuxia" <tracyyellow -at- hotmail -dot- com> To:techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com Date:Thu, 24 Aug 2006 16:52:00 +0800
Hi All,
I need your help!
I was asked to convert the user manuals to online help (called WebHelp in
RoboHelp) which can be accessed on Internet. One of the specific
requirements is to provide a search scope setting which allows users to
select which help files to search. Because all user manuals (10 all
together), though converted separately as individual help files, will be
merged into the master help. The final help will contain thousands of
topics. The search scope setting can help users narrow the search results.
I found a good example of it at:
http://infocenter.sybase.com/help/index.jsp, but I guess it's implemented
using Eclipse platform.
My question is: does RoboHelp offer similar search scope setting and how to
enable it? I have searched on Internet and RoBohelp central, but I had no
luck. If it's impossible with RoboHelp, what are the possibilities and how
to do it?
Thanks
