Summary on the question of whether I can use an editing test on my website: 

 - It's not my property, so to publish it is a violation of copyright (what
was I thinking?)
 - It could possibly be sent privately to potential clients.
 - Possibly more effective would be creating my own example.

The question may well be moot, because I've heard I might be offered the
position next week. I might not do that because of some other factors,
though.
