Why? This is not new news. HTMLHelp has been in maintenance
mode for several years.
HTMLHelp will be supported on Windows Vista. That's what you
should be looking for. HTMLHelp is a completely viable option in this
regard. If you don't like HTMLHelp? Try one of the other options --
straight HTML, javahelp, etc.
