The triggering mechanism are changes to the essential. From what I understand, you need to be able to identify the changes to the essential functionality and deprioritize the changes to the non-essential. If so, contact me off-line.

This is a wide-open situation. I have my own ideas, but I'm interested in the theoretical question too. If you could offer any solution, what would you suggest?
