Does anyone have any recommendations on Documentation Control Systems? Or

I think you're going to have to provide more information on your
requirements and constraints. There are a lot of systems, but there is no
system, no matter how excellent, that is going to be right for everyone.

For example, I like Documentum, but if you're a shop of 3 writers, it's
going to be overkill and way too expensive, most likely. ;)

You might mention what primary functions it needs to perform, what your
budget is, if you want to configure it yourself or if you have money for
some sort of support person to do the initial config (or the initial config
plus ongoing maintainance).

Some systems are ready to go out of the box, others require configuration to
personalize them. Some people will need to have a personalized system, for
other people something generically for tech pubs will be sufficient.

Stuff like that. ;)
