I have created a customized normal.dot template to be used for
documentation. Now i prepeared a doc file using this .dot file. In the doc
file if i try to use a formating option which is not defined in customised
normal.dot the document behaves strangely.

For example if i try to change colour of a word or sentence the whole
docuemnt's colour is chnaged. (where ever the format is normal text) if i
press Ctrl+Z the document return back to original shape and the desired
sentence is changedonly to the desired coulor. But doing this Ctrl+Z
increases document file size drastically. If i try to use some table or
bullets or allignment which is not defined in customised .dot file the same
problem occours. Some times if i just copy all the contents of this
increased file size documnet and paste them in a new blank document (using
same customised .dot file) the file size is reduced but if other problem of
formatting can still re-occour. Even if i use save as the problem remains
there.

Can some one help in resolving this problem
