So, the rest of us see a bit more of a glimpse of the seedy underside of
our community.

As professionals, or at least as a group which often laments our
professional status, shouldn't we be more concerned about the
inner/behind-the-scenes workings of what is a major resource to us and
stands in for a sort of professional organisation?

What does it say about the professionalism of the person that previously
ran this list that they start a new list and abandon their previous
responsibilities on short notice and under questionable circumstances?
How was the list started and when? Should we question Lisa's ethics of
inviting members of one list which she ran and planned to abandon to jump
to another which she runs and obviously wants to profit from in one way or
another?
Personally, my esteem for her has plummeted and she won't be at the top of
any hiring lists I have influence over.

Why should I or other TWer's stand for a fragmentation of our community
without a clear explanation of why?
Why should we support a fragmentation of the revenue that makes our
community viable?
If it's about the money, why does Lisa Bronson deserve more of it, or what
was wrong with what Eric Ray received?
If it was about power, why should we be concerned? Why should we fragment
ourselves to support their Egos?
If it was about control don't we as TECHWR-l members need to know about
the dissent among us?
If it was about content don't we as TECHWR-l members need to know so we
can act to effectuate change?

Are we as list members to treated as children and expected to do as we are
told or are we going to be treated with respect as both customers and
members of the community? TCP already has requested that "household rules"
be discussed privately off-list.
