I'm not sure I'm happy with that statement as it could be taken to imply
that the worldwide readers are not direct subscribers.
I feel that this list need to be defined as to whether it is a US (or
maybe North-America) list or whether it is a world-wide list.
As a European subscriber I get annoyed with the "Friday funnies" as most
of them are waiting in my inbox on Monday morning. Other topics are
definitely US-centric and perhaps need a US: or NA: tag so that my
filtering can deal with them.
If this is a world-wide list then perhaps there needs to be a sister list
(maybe more than one) for items of a local interest.
