I am in a wonderful position because I am embedded with the developers.
I have access to any SME I want; after five years, they know that I will
come by their office -- often with little or no warning.

My favorite questions to ask are "the emperor has no clothes" questions,
where they are not allowed to tell me that this is the way it has always
been done, or similar excuses for doing things a certain way.

The three most valuable questions to ask when learning about software
are "Always?" "Never?" and "Huh?"
