Hi Jennita,

Here are some suggestions as to how you can use RoboHelp with version
control software.
I am using RoboHelp with SourceSafe as my version control software, so
my suggestions below are based on my experience.

ADDING A ROBOHELP PROJECT TO VERSION CONTROL SOFTWARE
The Version Control software should already be set up with relevant
access privileges granted.
1. Open your RoboHelp project.
2. Display the Version Control toolbar
3. Click on the "Add to Version Control" button (yellow plus)
4. Select the Version Control Provider and select the location within
the Version Control software to store your project.
5. That's it! All files within your project are automatically checked in
to the Version Control software. You may find that the files have been
checked into the version control software and automatically checked out
again.

USING ROBOHELP WITH VERSION CONTROL SOFTWARE
1. Open the RoboHelp project
2. With SourceSafe you are asked if you would like to get the latest
files
3. Edit the files as normal. The version control software will
automatically check out any files that you change.
4. Close RoboHelp, a dialog will appear asking if you want to check in
your changes. You can either check in your changes or exit RoboHelp and
check in the changes using the version control software.

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Katherine
