Guess I "seriously" have on my tech-writing hat, as I agree with the subject
line of the original poster.

The humor makes me think of a Sunday comix, with Dad trying to fit in with
the 11-16 yo crowd (and them retching or saying something typically
adolescent).

There's too much content and the "humor" makes it more verbose (but yes,
glass houses :-)
