A little while ago I received a Sandisk MP3 player and was pleasantly surprised with the manual. Though the product is aimed more at tweens/teens, it was well written and thankfully contained no humour.
I did follow the link that was posted re the watch and I would definitely return the product if I was given instructions like that. They did try to reproduce the same style in French, it really doesn't work.
Even though the market was definitely younger and they tried to appeal to it, they went about it the wrong way -- probably a too-young technical writer!
