Greeting, listers. I have been trying to find an answer to this question online and becoming most frustrated, so I turn to you. :)
I have been tasked with creating ERDs for our database as part of our documentation set. I've done this before, at another job, using Visio, but this was several years ago. My database people have obligingly created ERWIN files for me to use as the starting point.
I've found instructions on how to import the files online, but even Microsoft's site is not clear on the version of Visio being used, the feature comparisons there have only confused me further, and I'm not seeing the UI elements they tell me to use. The Visio help appears to have been rendered pretty much useless since version 2000.
So, does anyone on this list know if the standard version of Visio 2003 includes a way to import ERWIN files, or is that only in the Professional version of the program?
