TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Only moments ago, I asked where the "keyword in context" search
results had gone in Adobe Reader 7. The answer proves to be very
simple, and I've got no idea why it didn't work the first several
times I tried it this way: search by clicking the binoculars icon in
the toolbar (or opening the Edit menu and selecting Search instead of
Find) rather than using the keyboard shortcut (Command or Control +
F). D'oh!
Thanks to Marci Bethel, Alice Falk, and Cris Simpson for swift
responses. (If you replied and I didn't thank you, sorry... your
reply hadn't arrived when I wrote this.)
