Suzette,

I can't help you with a specific answer to your question, however, I do
have a solution for you. Download a free utility for Windows called
PureText 2.0. http://www.stevemiller.net/puretext/. PureText removes
rich formatting from text, which is what the Paste Special command does
in Word. I use it often, both in and out of Word, and find that it comes
in very handy.
