RE: Changing progams to accommodate reviewers

LOL, I once worked at a large, well-known company where they should have
known better but spent a LOT of time and effort and money trying to teach
NROFF to the whole team of 50 system development engineers.  My job was then
to "edit" their attempts against the Ma Bell and GPO Style Guide Standards.

After just one week of being driven crazy by this, I suggested to everybody
that they should type their inputs in whatever program they liked, including
Notepad, and let me do the formatting at the same time that I did the
grammar and spelling edit.

Their development productivity jumped by more than 500% and their
temperaments improved by about the same because they weren't being
frustrated by trying to wrestle with a detail they a) didn't know well, b)
didn't really care about.  I received no recognition and left soon
afterward.
