Subject:WinHelp Conversion to HTML Help From:"Keith Hansen" <KRH -at- weiland-wfg -dot- com> To:<techwr-l -at- lists -dot- techwr-l -dot- com> Date:Tue, 10 Apr 2007 16:59:33 -0500
I have a WinHelp project (generating an .HLP file) that I'd like to
convert to MS HTML help (generating a .CHM file). I want to do the
conversion partially because of the Vista issues, but for many other
reasons as well. I did a quick test conversion and was pleased with the
results, though it will require some clean-up work.
Can anyone think of any compelling reasons NOT to convert to HTML help?
Many Map IDs are currently associated with the WinHelp project. During
my test conversion, it looks like the same Map ID numbers can still be
associated with the same topics in HTML help. Anyone encountered any
problems in this area?
Thanks!
Keith
