Hi Yves,

Sorry I'm not getting through to you. For *my audience*, your example
might lead them to think that they have to wait to complete the ten
steps and the pre-frangification before they can pull the red handle.

Furthermore, the phrase "at any time during pre-frangification" is not a
contradiction, at least not to a native English speaker in the United
States. For example: "Please call me at any time this evening."

And no, "restore" and "set" in the example below don't mean the same
thing.
