My magic 8 ball is saying "ask again later," so that's no help....

All kidding aside, that isn't how I'd make the decision. I would make
the decision based on how well a tool set meets your requirements. You
may also want to look at how much market traction a tool has or how
long the company that makes it has been around (e.g. Adobe is not
likely to go bankrupt any time soon, Authorit has been around for many
years, etc.) but for me that would definitely be a secondary
consideration. Getting a tool that fits your needs should be the
primary concern.
