TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
I think screen capture is still there. I use PaintShop Pro at home for
everything, and have version 9 and the newest version on two different
computers. I used it to create all the art for my new CD. In the past, I've
used it to "remove and replace" real names with fake ones, and generally fix
up my screen captures. It's a great too.
You can still download a 30-day trial, I believe, to check it out yourself
if you wanted.
