In our business, documenting papermaking machinery, we typically send
out updated pages with the corrections to all affected customers, if the
error is significant. For something less crucial -- say, a part number
or its decription changes -- we fix the error (or make the update, as
the case may be) in the latest version and keep it right going forward.

I just found an error in one of the manuals I work on and I feel sick.
Fortunately, the error does not pose the user any danger but it looks
bad.
What do you all do when this happens? I'm having a bad case of the "I'm
not perfect" blues.
