Hey Brother Bear,

(You seem to have a revival tent going here.)

All Mike and I said was that Word works fine for big documents the way
we use it, with its own native features.

Word has lots of native features that work well. Master Document
doesn't, so avoid it.

I'm not going to get into the whole better/worse thing. My definition of
"serious, professional technical writing" doesn't include silly tool
wars.

OK, I *did* make fun of people who speak of tools in absolute terms, but
I didn't intend for you to just step right into it like that. Check your
shoes.
