Back in the 50's, my mother worked for a large scientific research firm in Boston. She wrote the company newsletter. She was a secretary.

She used to have lunch with a woman who had advance degrees in physics, wore a white coat and worked in the lab. She was also a secretary.

That's how things have changed.
