I don't recall the author or exact title, but there's a book on graphical
representations of data that's an absolute classic, in the required
reading list.
One illustration shows Napolean's march on Moscow, and retreat
afterwards, with the line changing width as the army is whittled
down, or changing dramatically where they got chopped to pieces
by the Russian.
Should we do one for techwr-l? Put it on the site?
There are a few obvious choices. I'd say anyone involved in software
development should read MMM, and every writer Strunk and White.
Beyond those, what would go on it?
