Reading list Re: Foundation books (Was: The Mythical Man-Month)
Subject:Reading list Re: Foundation books (Was: The Mythical Man-Month) From:"Caroline Tabach" <caroline -dot- tabach -at- gmail -dot- com> To:"Sandy Harris" <sandyinchina -at- gmail -dot- com> Date:Thu, 21 Jun 2007 09:20:31 +0300
I think making a reading list is an excellent idea.
The only problem is that it could get v_e_r_y long.
I have often asked people on this list for book recommendations and
have been very pleased with recommendations. So I have my own little
list of books people have recommended here (thought I have not yet
read them all yet) that I could contribute.
However, there are so many types of books that could be in such a
list. There are basic technical writing books, books to do with
layout, fonts, GUI design, Usability, Project planning and many many
other areas relevant to our work. So as I said, such a list could get
very long, very fast.
