Very few companies and managers are going to offer
telecommuting as an initial work situation in their W2
recruiting ads. Telecommuting is intended to be for
the *mutual* benefit of both the employer and the
employee, so even companies that have telecommuting
processes in place are going to expect you to first
demonstrate that you can do the job onsite, then that
you can do it as well or better offsite than they've
seen you do it onsite.
