I agree. If they're going to insist on behaving like total idiots, this is better to know early than late. It might not be a deal-breaker; some of us thrive in such environments and enjoy a well-earned sense of Hero status when we can successfully lead a company singing and jubilating into the 21st Century (or kicking and screaming as the case may be). There is great risk and the potential for great reward. It's still important to know what we're in for before we agree to put our hoohoo into the wringer.

Just remember the Drama Triangle from _Codependent No More_: if we jump in as Hero, we are inevitably doomed at some point within the cycle to rotate to either Villain or Victim.
