TechWhirl (TECHWR-L) is a resource for technical writing and technical communications professionals of all experience levels and in all industries to share their experiences and acquire information.
For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
As for whether this is the latest version, I believe I had an interim
version that never made it to techwr-l--Lisa and I just never
coordinated it. I'll check and work with Chris to make sure he has the
most recent version.
Cheers,
Sean

Eric,
See the following from Sean Brierley (original author) which, IMHO,
gives tacit permission to post.
A little history: it used to be posted on the archives of this techwr-l
list, but the list has changed servers in the meantime, and as a result
it's no longer available. It would be preferable to post it somewhere on
techwr-l. but that's up to the Admin and Sean.
Sean: great bit of work. Worth reading.
