We use Confluence as well and it is pretty easy to use. We use it for a
repository of general internal technical info. We also have a page in
Confluence that contains links to pdf versions of the documentation.
This allows users to go to only one place to find the document that
want.

My company uses Confluence as a wiki by Atlassian Software - it's really
easy to use.  It links to their bug tracking software which we also use.


There are links to Confluence wikis (used to deliver documentation,
though) on the DITA and Wikis post of this blog:

I don't think anyone can send you a link to a wiki used internally as an
intranet. Ours just started by creating an area for each department, and
the folks in those departments just added the information they felt they
needed in there.
