Welcome home John. I've been working out of the home office for the last two
years and I just recently got elevate to a management position which
requires me to be at the "real" office three mornings a week. I have to say,
working at home offers a lot more freedom, and a lot less stress (except
when the cat is determined to sleep on your arms during a typing frenzy). I
can't partake in the Bass (or Magic Hat, or Otter Creek, or Long Trail), but
that's due to diabetes and not desire. (I save them for the end of the day.)
However, you are correct in stating that at home workers tend to put in more
hours than those in the office. But it's a price we have to pay for working
where we can kick up the jams if want, or type out on the deck when the sky
is clear and the sun is hot.
