First of all...I think I just sent an empty reply to another email...sorry about that!

Ok, my company is looking at developing a product which will basically group a number of our products together into one. The product will contain different components for each customer, therefore, one company will get documentation for five products in one manual and another could get 15 products in one manual.
I have done this before at a different company and used both Framemaker and Help and Manual. Right now, we just have Word and the thought of trying this in Word is scaring me! Are there better products than Framemaker and Help and Manual to do this with, is it possible to do with Word without a huge cut and paste headache?
The documentation, or at least my end of it, will be PDF and hard copy.

Also, I noticed that Help and Manual is a lot less expensive than Framemaker, personally I like Help and Manual and for what I am looking at doing, think it will work. It will also probably be an easier sale to the boss, since it is cheaper. Is there any serious flaw in Help and Manual that anyone has discovered that might make it smarter to try and get Framemaker?

One more question, right now the documentation I have is all done in Word, I would bring this documentation into whatever product that I get, how easy is this to do?

Thanks in advance, and also I have had way too much caffiene this morning, so I appologize if this email seems disjointed! :)
