All hail the mighty DELETE and his sibling, the "send to trash" filter.

Interestingly I've been pondering using filters 'creatively' and you,
Richard, have just given me thought for another use. 

But that's for another day and another blog post.

Unique Documentation wise - from a Digitext European Help Conference - MS
Publisher offered a "task based" step by step guide through creating a new
document. It was driven by the docs (it was more than just wizard based). I
think it would've been Publisher 2000 if you want to try and track it down.

The full of what I said is that structured writing is main skill set of a
technical writer AND that, minor formatting issues to the side, structured
writing is really all about analysis.  This pretty much parallels you
comment that "the main skill set in technical writing is the ability to
understand complex concepts and information and be able to effectively
communicate it out to those who need to know it in a manner they can best
use and understand that information."
