Hi Sam,

you may want to post this in the FrameUsers forum. You may get some more
answers there.

Meanwhile, I think you have this problem because the font of the callouts in
the original PDF is not embedded. I don't think it has anything to do with
the number of files you have open. You can simply test this by opening 1
Frame file and saving this file as PDF.

If you want me to take a look at it, just send me one of those PDF files
with callouts.
