RE: General formatting question for a TOC?

I think there's also something to be said for keeping the TOC concise
enough to allow the reader to gather the whole picture in a few pages.
I'm not opposed to presenting an overall TOC to two levels at the front
of the manual and chapter TOCS down another level or two at the start of
a chapter.
