Not sure. How do you define "usability expert"? In my experience there
are likely very few tech writers out there (myself included) who are
also skilled usability experts/professionals. Many tech writers are
good at heuristic analysis (it is, after all, very much tied to what
we do) but that in fact is an exceptionally small piece of what
usability professionals actually know and do.
