Salary information collected from 3rd party equity assessment firms is
neither inflated nor deflated. I don't know if this is where the STC
received its data from, but it's where my company's HR department gets
its from, and they make adjustments internally from there based on the
local market. I suspect most mid-size and larger companies do the very
same.
