I disagree. Offshoring is all a matter of perspective, and tech
writing is in no more danger of uncertainty as programming, QA, tech
support, or toy-making. I take it you live in the USA (as do I), and
in Iowa as well (you got me there, I'm in NY)... Did you know that
European countries are offshoring labor to the USA (midwest region)
because it's dirt cheap to buy land and salary demands are quite low?
