Seeing your name and email address, actually we have various
LiveJournal friends in common, and as a matter of fact I used to play
guitar at monthly celtic music sessions at the NOAA office here in
Santa Cruz, until they stopped having them earlier this year.

Recently I've been doing less programming and more technical writing
and illustration than usual (though hopefully this project will
actually end someday), and it's been very interesting to get on this
list and see different people's perspectives and experiences.
