Dear Ken,

You didn't mention the source of those pages, so this advice may be useless.

I do a lot of scanning of legacy documents into image-only pdf's. I
scan the pages into individual image files - tif's, not .pdf's -
because these can be combined en masse into a .pdf, in any order you
like. This is helpful when scanning batches of two-sided originals
using a sheetfed scanner or automatic document feeder; after
selecting "combine in Adobe Acrobat" you simply rearrange the image
files in the list in the correct order -serial or interleaved -
before pressing "ok." The new document comes up with all the pages
present, in the right order. All you have to do is rename it from
"binderN" to whatever it needs to be.

Obviously this only helps if you have control over the source of your
pages - that is, if you have the option of generating images instead
of one-page .pdf's.

Best regards,

Group,

Is anybody aware of how to insert a multiple number of pdf pages in
the correct sequential order?

I'm using Acrobat Professional 6.0 on a Windows XP machine.

I have approximately 50 pdf's of single pages all sequentially
numbered (1.pdf, 2.pdf, 3pdf, etc).

What I've done so far is the following:

1. Open the first pdf (1.pdf)

2. Then Document > Pages > Insert

3. Highlight the pages in the file list (all presented in sequential order)

4. Click "select" "After" page 1, then Enter.

The pages are all inserted, but in reverse order.

What to do? What to do?
