If your freelancer is taking 5-10 times longer to create a document than you
do, then you have to ask yourself if you need a new freelancer. I had one
that took forever to finish a doc, whined all the time he was doing it, and
turned in garbage that required a lot of editing. He's gone and the person
who took over his work has finished his projects and several others in the
same time frame and writes better than I do. My next challenge is getting
her more money to keep her around 'cause she's sure making my life a lot
easier...and that's the key. If your freelancer isn't an asset, then he/she
is a liability. My budget doesn't have a category for liabilities.
