Taking this another step forward: I live and work in northern New England
- Vermont/New Hampshire area - and there are a lot of people with very
good technical skills, a nearby Ivy League educational institution ... and
darned few high tech jobs. I know you could put together a team of
outstanding programmers, designers, writers, managers, etc. and they would
not have to charge the same amount as our big city brethren (or sistren).
That's called "onshoring" where you move jobs to another location within
the same country.

It's called "current business climate".
