It's your choice to question. And I see that on Tom's blog, you did pose 
some questions. However, I didn't originally see those questions posed here 
for discussion, I only saw your admittedly quick response of, "that's shallow" 
:) I suppose I take all blogs, professional or otherwise, for what they are -- 
someones personal thoughts and ramblings scribbled on paper.

Personally, sometimes my thoughts are deep and sometimes they're vague. 
I've chosen to spare the world from my ramblings ;)  (at least in the 
blogosphere -- you do have to put up with them here and a on few other lists 
:)
