Kinda flies in the face of the current trends to phase-out contractors in
favor of full-time employees. However, my views are based on the trends of
the State of California, which is trying to get rid of contractors. Large
corporations in the area tend to follow what the state does, so I expect
that there will be more full-time employees in the next few years. That era
will be followed by a need for contractors to come in and clean-up messes.
I kinda base that prediction on the cyclical nature of IT and that's pretty
much what happened last time.
