Compromise -- get one of each!
Seriously. I've been using two 19" CRTs for a long time. The other day,
I was drooling over my boss's new 22" wide-format LCD. She agreed to put
one in next year's budget for me. The wide LCD is terrific for viewing
facing pages in FM or Acrobat. But I'll probably hang on to one of my
CRTs (or try for an LCD replacement) because I'd still like to have
Outlook, Visio, the app I'm documenting, etc., off on their own monitor
to the side.
