Folks using the unix (or linux) shell command-line are going to be adept at the non-graphic interface already. They will expect to see "cd blah-blah" but will also be able to reconstruct the correct command from docs that went through a fierce editorial staff person who capitalized or upper-cased everything. They've seen it before. They still won't like it.
