The article states, "GTD rests on the principle that a person needs to
move tasks out of the mind by recording them externally." I use Outlook
and Excel to record and track work tasks, and various Web sites for
personal tasks.

The choice of tools is personal and idiosyncratic. As Geoff pointed out,
methodology is secondary to self-discipline.
