I've edited a couple of these for the company I work for. Our profile
talks about why/how we were formed (and by whom), why we are in
business (i.e. what market segment we supply services/goods to), our
short-term and long-term "touchy-feely" goals (that dovetails with our
mission statement), and some of our other projects - especially the
ones that relate to the current bid. It's not too long. Probably
inbetween 1000-2000 words.
