Several books, have "recursion: see recursion" or some variant. Stan
Kelley-Bootle's wonderful 'Computer Contradictionary' has "endless
loop: see loop, endless" and " loop, endless: see endless loop".
As I recall, the index entry for recursion in K&R lists several page
numbers including its own.
My favorite, though, was a text on English grammar with a page
on various things that can follow the verb "to be": adjective,
noun phrase or prepositional phrase. Their examples were
something like "He is stupid", "He is a Republican" and "He
is from Indiana." I've forgotten who, but some politician had
an index entry pointing there.
