You have, I hope, burned copies of all your saved messages to CDs.

I use a a program called MessageSave. You can find it at http://www.techhit.com/messagesave/ . It lets you save both messages and attachments in any directories, so once you have saved them you can delete stuff on the Outlook server and reopen space there. It saves the messages as individual files, not as parts of a .pst file.
