Subject: Word 2003: Outline Numbering looses format when restarting
numbering
Hi All,
I've created a template which works just fine, with the following
exception.
The Outline Numbering keeps changing format whenever I create a new list
and restart from the #1.
I have created a different style for every level in the Outline, as
follows:
list1
list2
list3
list4
They are all assigned properly in the Bullets and Numbering dialog box
(using the Customize option).
The Styles were formatted and set from there (not using the Paragraph
formatting).
Whenever I apply the style ot the list all is fine, until I make a new
list and have to restart the numbering.
Here is what happens:
list1 applied (before restarting numbering): Left, Aligned at: 0.25";
Tab space after .5" and Indent at .5"
I click restart numbering for that list item - everything (including in
the
Template) changes and moves the indenting in by .25" for ALL of the
outline numbered styles.
